Chronic pain addresses the assessment and management of cancer pain and non-cancer pain (back pain, stiff neck, knee pain, etc.).

For acute pain, we formulate a nursing care plan for transient pain such as perinatal period, perioperative period, and acute stage of disease. It also reviews pain classification, total pain, and pain control.
Nausea has other causes besides digestive disorders. Some of these causes can be treated without treatment of the underlying disease. We will take mitigation measures for those that can be dealt with.
The comfort-promoting readiness state is intended for cases in which the patient is willing to manage factors that inhibit comfort on their own. We will develop a plan to support the patient’s motivation and bring it closer to a comfortable state.
For comfort disorders, we raise the physical and environmental factors that hinder comfort, and formulate a plan to alleviate symptoms and enhance comfort.
